History: Tourists from the Netherlands reached out to us, asking to help an abandoned puppy from Svaneti. We explained that we could only take on new rescues if someone promised to adopt him and cover his travel costs. The family agreed, so we took Bertlome (then named Chaukhi) in. Unfortunately, the family then refused to help with adoption and never paid a single penny. For years, Zero Strays Georgia has been trying to find a home for this outstanding personality, but we haven’t succeeded yet. 

Personality: Bertlome is a real bundle of joy. He loves to play with other doggies. He absolutely adores children and gets along with cats, too. He’s full of energy. Unlike most of our rescues, he also enjoys walking on the leash. He’s extremely cuddly and very lovable!
