Snow
Date of birth: 2020
Weight: About 25 kg
Health issues: Healthy.
Neutered: Yes
Ready to travel abroad: Yes
History:
Snow was deliberately burned with boiling water in Zugdidi. Someone poured hot water over her, leaving her in pain and with severe skin injuries.
At the time, Zero Strays Georgia did not yet formally exist. One of our team members, Nona Nachkebia, began visiting Snow every single day — cleaning and treating her wounds, applying medication to her damaged skin, and bringing her food. She refused to let Snow suffer alone.
Eventually, we couldn’t leave her there. The neighbours started complaining. We took her in.
Today, Snow is one of our oldest long-term foster residents. She is part of our history — a reminder of why this work began, even before Zero Strays Georgia officially became an organization.
Personality: Snow is very kind, and a little timid. She adores cuddling with humans. She’s careful around more dominant dogs, sometimes even a little scared. A foster home with a dozen other dogs is not an ideal living environment for her. She has never shown aggression and gets along well with other dogs.
